Last time we taught this class we realized that packing the entire country of France into one hour was a tall order. This time we are splitting our French class in two—east and west—so we can give all the regions and wines they attention they deserve.
Each class is stand alone. Come to one. Or come to both (and get a discount)!
Sunday School is taking you on a tour of France, pinpointing (and tasting!) the distinct characteristics of each region. With this class we’ll focus on the West of the country, traveling from the bohemian diversity of the Loire Valley to the flashy world of Bordeaux and then onto the lesser known but no less disticntive reds of the southwest. As well as highlighting the classics, we’ll also get off the beaten track, discovering where France’s hip and snappy wines reside.
No more staring in bafflement at the French section of the wine store — this class will provide the tools you need to navigate the (westside) of greatest wine country in the world*.
* Italians would disagree — obviously theirs is the greatest wine country.
