Last time we taught this class we realized that packing the entire country of France into one hour was a tall order. This time we are splitting our French class in two—east and west—so we can give all the regions and wines they attention they deserve.
Sunday School is is headed East on its tour of France, pinpointing (and tasting!) the distinct characteristics of each region. The eminent names of Burgundy and Rhone may be familiar, but we’ll also be making stops in Alsace, Jura and Savoie to discover some of France’s most exciting wines, before finishing up in Provence, on the shores of the Mediterranean.
No more staring in bafflement at the French section of the wine store — this class will provide the tools you need to navigate the (eastside) of greatest wine country in the world*.
* Italians would disagree — obviously theirs is the greatest wine country.
