Sit back and relax as we take you on a trip through time and space, recounting the most important bits of history — those that involve people drinking wine.
As we trace the development of wine over 8000 years we’ll be learning about the Romans and their Bacchanalian orgies, the love-hate relationship wine has had with religion, and why the course of wine owes its destiny to the influencial power of the Brits. ;)
We’ll be pouring a flight of "historical" wines that will assist our imaginations on a journey through eight millennia.
Tip: Stay after class for Enoteca’s Happy Hour where they have super cheap pizzas (how can you say “no” to cheap pizza!?) and drink deals. (My personal favorite, since you asked, is the Enoteca Sbagliato which is a refreshing cocktail made with Campari, Corsican red vermouth, and legit-good sparkling wine.)
